I only ever dealt in FACTS with the OS.

I told you all about the gaps. I told you all about it being freezing in winter. I told you all you'd get pissed on when it rained; that was one of the reasons I fucked off the SAB after i got scoffed at by ANGUS KINNEAR and some of the wanker SABers when I pointed out that rain doesnt fall at a 45 degree angle from the sky all the time.

Perhaps if you'd actually paid attention you wouldnt now be so disappointed?

"mincers trying to claim they knew a couple of blokes rich off the back of the porn trade were cunts before the Brunmy lot told us"

Not a single person on here has mentioned Birmingham, or saying anything before anyone, except you – in a feeble to attempt to excuse your own stupidity.

I feel sorry for you (not Cuntrozzz though, as he’s a proper cunt, you’re just a bit odd but I like you) after all that wasted time on the OS threads about how great it was going to be. I’m perfectly calm about the whole thing, in fact I think it’s fucking hilarious how shit it is.

Still, the silliness is that this has descended into an OS thread. My reading of the article when I picked it up this morning was that we have a MAJOR problem with the players. Like fucking huge. They moaned about Bilic because they weren’t fit enough. Noble has been out saying there’s some back biting going on. Now this, where it seems some are unhappy with the choice of manager, and his coaching staff. Journos don’t just make this stuff up.

David MOYES wouldn’t have been my choice, but to be frank I’d take him over most of those shitcunts. They, along with the owners, are the biggest problem at the club.

Re: West Ham is a toxic football club (c&p)
"In different circumstances, Spurs would undoubtedly view a trip to West Ham as tricky. It certainly was when their title challenge faltered under the lights last season, Michail Antonio scoring the only goal on an evening when the Hammers’ fans gave Mauricio Pochettino’s team the most inhospitable of East End welcomes.

That closeness, that claustrophobia, has been conspicuous by its absence this season. Because of the running track, the players struggle to feel the atmosphere and the distance from the pitch prevents the crowd from getting on top of visiting teams. The place simply feels too big for a team of West Ham’s stature and it was striking to hear Pep Guardiola make that point after City’s 5-0 win in the FA Cup in January. “Today we controlled a bit more, through the passes,” Guardiola said. “The pitch, the stadium, helped us in that sense. It looks like it’s bigger. It’s an impression.”

The pitch at Upton Park was 100.5m x 68m, while the London Stadium is five metres longer and the same width. However Guardiola’s comments echoed ones made by Sir Trevor Brooking, who warned that teams would raise their game at Stratford. The psychological impact of playing in a stadium regarded as a soft touch should not be underestimated. Without that home advantage, West Ham’s frailties become more exposed".

I’m not angry OneTwat as there isn’t an ownership that hasn’t done ALL of us over one way or another. The thing i’m glad about is that i’ve got my gauge on how great it can be following West Ham except for me personally that was in the early to mid 80’s.Now it’s an opportunity to make certain of seeing good friends without menial spanner’s being thrown in.

It’s your sTOWIE’s and the mincey like trying to tell us THEY told us being West Ham a lot of the time is cunt, and also the same mincers trying to claim they knew a couple of blokes rich off the back of the porn trade were cunts before the Brunmy lot told us.We all knew this whilst they was at Birmingham let alone after except this pair were more brazen than previous to the point where you knew you couldn’t stop them as there is a new fan base ready to step in sold on modern football some just hoped they wouldn’t be that ballsey and tbh i think some of it is down to them honestly think they know best.

Let’s face it why else would you walk away unless you honestly thought you could stop that move?

"The evening games might be the ones where you'll find it slightly different. The close proximity [at Upton Park] meant it could be intimidating for the opposition.

"I don't think the opposition will find it like that because it's not as close as it had been"

Sir Trev

. It was very intimidating and hostile. I know there were a few unsavoury moments but it was also a great time to be fan because it was such an intense atmosphere and when opposing fans came to Upton Park I think they found it difficult to cope. That worked in West Ham’s favour.

Tony Cottee

I hadn’t seen an atmosphere like that at Upton Park before. I knew what the crowd were capable of but there was discontent there from the previous season. But that was a big-time atmosphere and boy did they deliver. It was unbelievable that night. When you play in a big atmosphere, you sense it in the warm-up. You realise that the ground is going to be rocking. It felt like the crowd was pushing us over the line.

The atmosphere at Upton Park pulled the team through dozens of tight games over the years, fact.

I'll give you another fact, the lack of atmosphere at the new gaff will cost us dozens of points over the forthcoming years.

Gavros 5:34 Wed Nov 22
Re: West Ham is a toxic football club (c&p)
what do you mean of dear?

Ive proven it statistically.

The home points to away points ratio was exactly the same in the last year at UP and the first year of the OS.

While the overall points total was lower in the latter, the fact that the ratios were the same means that the grounds had no impact whatsoever on points amassed.

This is a point of logic, and i appreciate that there are many on here incapable of the cognition necessary to understand it. In which case, just trust me - UP did not 'give us more points'.

Re: West Ham is a toxic football club (c&p)
You want a conspiracy theory?

I clearly remember the general mood concerning the move tipped in favour of staying at the BG, despite most seeing the potential benefits of moving. The one thing that tipped the mood the other way to being up fr the move was Tottenham throwing their hat into the ring. Nearly on or near the fence thought "I'm not sure I really want to go, but there's no way we're having Spurs plot up in Stratford. (The other thing that got support were the promises of retractable seating, but that's another abortion).

Seeing as though Spurs were never going to be able to knock down the stadium and rebuild, is it hard to imagine Sullivan and Levy agreeing to the plan of Tottenham going for Stratford?

That's just a flakey conspiracy theory, don't pay too much attention to it, but what is 100%nailed on is that that move helped Tottenham force Harringey pull their finger out, and at the same time it helped sway West Ham fans' opinion on the move.

They were involved in one of the bids, they lost it and we won. Then they cried and challenged which caused the deal we have now to occur.

Their bid was to knock it down and start again which would have crippled them financially and why they were never going to do it.
